The weather here is bringing back memories of growing up near Seattle.
This is a photo I took this morning of the '”green” area near our house. We often come here to play catch. As you can see the “green” area is filled with water. Here in Arizona we are experiencing unprecedented storms.
Thankfully, we are warm in our house, but not without a memory. We sold my minivan on Tuesday. The Sarge has been in court all week which is a hour away. He has had the truck which meant the older kids had to walk home from school today.
I bundled up Mister in a size 7 snow suit, put him in the jogging stroller and we headed out on the short walk to school. We ran into Honey Bee along the way. She was drenched. I told her we needed to head to school since Bug was waiting for her. Once we arrived at school, he came out of the building relived that Honey Bee was with me. Apparently, we need to put an emergency plan in place.
The kids told me to look on the website as we have been told there may not be school tomorrow.
Off to drink Hot Cocoa. I just feel sorry for the visitors who came for the sun.
