Blue Hour Special

Last week I signed up for Kent Weakley's Night Photography eClass at Darcy's suggestion. My hope was to be able to shoot some decent photographs at night. Within days, his class exceeded my expectations.
I grabbed an older, sturdy tripod my father-in-law gave us, my 28-75mm 2.8 Tamron lens (affiliate link) and ran outside and grabbed a few "blue hour" shots last night. If you need to feel something to get you out of a photography rut, take some "blue hour" shots. If the weather wasn't so windy tonight, I'd head out and take some more.

Sweet Shot Day

@love and life ♥ thank you so much for your kind words.

@Susan Blue Hour definition according to Wikipedia: The blue hour comes from the French expression l'heure bleue, which refers to the period of twilight each morning and evening where there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness. The time is considered special because of the quality of the light at this time of day.

I never knew this existed until I began Kent Weakley's class last week. Love the results it gives.
