Bug came home yesterday afternoon with a ton of math homework. He was not doing well in math (one of his strong subjects) Maybe I made a mistake asking his math teacher why if he was doing so poorly, did he not have any math homework the last 2 weeks. I got a Starbucks at 5pm in an attempt to help him through it. That kept me up way to late. So I read through my blog archives last night while trying to fall asleep & I became thankful I have at least blogged a little bit.
1. I have a decent memory. I am great at remembering names. Remembering when my children started walking, talking, getting and loosing teeth not so much. This is one reason I am thankful for blogs. I blogged about when Mister started walking here. I had long forgotten about his first haircut. But here it is on video!
2. In that very same post I declared I was not a "dog"person. Well this Millie has changed my mind for sure. Not really sure if she is a dog. She is the poster dog for all the well behaved dogs out there. Chance (the Norfolk Terrier) not so much, God bless his psycho soul!
3. In fact that post was written nearly four years ago. My husband enjoys what he does, but talks of learning to fly a helicopter (after playing Santa, Christmas 2010) and heading into the mission field. Me? I'm scared of a helicopter tragedy.
4. Costco is still one of my favorite places. I prefer it to Sam's Club any day of the week. Wish the closest one wasn't 12 miles away.
5. Gifts is not my primary love language anymore. Acts of Service is. The act of service does not need to be performed by you. If you call & make the doctor appointment, my tank will fill. If you hire someone to glean the tile grout, my tank will be filled. If you clean the bathroom, I'll be overjoyed.
