Roomies?

I have had my own room for just five year out of the more than thirty years I've been around. My younger sister (2 year difference) & I shared a bedroom until I moved out.

My two boys who are nearly 12 & just turned 5, have asked if they can share a room. I have no issues with this. They really enjoy each others company, like to play on the Apple iPod Touch together & get into some fabulous Nerf wars!

However, my beloved does not think they should share a room. He thinks the 6 3/4 year age difference is too much. We are blessed to allow each of our children their own space & if being roomies doesn't work out, well we can always revert back.

Here are their rooms about a year and a half ago:

Our older son enjoys all things military, maps, geo caching. Our younger one likes dogs and stuff his older brother likes. I was thinking of decorating one of the walls with various maps, then try & incorporate military & dog stuff in as well.
